Dr. Olayinka AGUNLOYE is an Associate Professor of Logistics and Transport from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning., University of Lagos. He is a distinguished academic and professional practitioner, who had HND from the former Lagos State Polytechnic (now Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu) and also attended the prestigious University of Lagos where he obtained B.Sc. M.Sc. and Ph. D. Degrees with focus on Transportation Planning. Dr. Agunloye has international and national professional certifications (Chartered Member, Institute of Logistics and Transport; Member, Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria; Member, Nigeria Institute of Town Planners; Member, Nigeria Institute of Management and Member, Nigerian Environmental Society).

He has a prolific record of several well cited publications contributing to both international and national spheres. He has lectured in the University of Lagos for over 15 years where he successfully mentored and supervised numerous undergraduate students, masters’ students and 3 Ph. D. degree holders by God’s grace. Dr. Agunloye’s international presence is marked by participation in conferences and Professional services, where he presents insights into Urban Planning; Logistics and Transport matters. He has served as a consultant across continents, including roles as the Safeguard Officer with the World Bank; International Transport and Logistics Consultant for SIFAX group; Transport Consultant to the UN-Habitat with Niger State Government on State Urban Policy; International Consultant of WAICA-Re and a participant in the USAID Supply Chain and Logistics Programme.

He has a recent appointment as one of Lagos State Government’s Consultants for International Professional Study Tour. He is the Principal Partner of Equitable Planning Consult and has nationally worked with as Consultant to Ardova Plc; Lagos Urban Development Initiatives (LUDI); Advocacy Planner to Renee Supermarket and Malls Limited; Consultants to the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing on Bende Physical development Plan; Parking Strategist on Badagry Master Plan Review; T.I.A.
He is an expert for Alaro City; Data analyst on Bida Physical development Plan; FBT Coral Estate transport expert; Country Director, Environmental Safety and Awareness Initiative (ESAI) an NGO; Transportation Expert on Channels Television, Transport and Logistics Experts on Punch and Guardian Newspapers and Head of Logistics (Petite Appetites) among others.
